Falcon and Acorn is the creative healing nest of Tara Moorman, PhD and her alias Fálki Heiðdóttir.

As life coach and professional counselor, they have 20 years of experience working with people struggling with addiction, trauma, mood disorders, and grief as well as guiding folx in their quests for wholehearted, creative, full lives. Mindfulness and somatic practices along with aceeptance/commitment strategies are their favorite tools. They hold a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology and a PhD in Counseling Studies.

As a shamanic healer, they are inspired by their inner journeys with ancestors and guides and by stories of ancient Norse Völva, Siberian and Finnish shamans, and global medicine people. Their medicine comes from personal experience with depression, anxiety, and childhood trauma.

A self-taught explorer and a doodling child, art fuels their soul.
